Jason M. Graves, P.E.

 

 

Jason M. Graves, P.E. has over 25 years of experience in the environmental field. As part of his experiences while at Waid, Jason previously provided over six years of temporary on-site support in the environmental department for major petroleum refineries. While on-site, his responsibilities included: State and Federal permit construction and operating permit support, NSPS and MACT applicability determinations and reporting, stack testing coordination, LDAR compliance evaluations, regulatory agency inspection support, and daily support for operations and engineering.

A reduced view at Jason’s qualifications includes the following qualifications:

Environmental management and compliance auditing
Regulatory analysis and compliance strategy development
Emissions estimation and specification of stack parameters
Litigation/Hearing Support
Preparation of applications for permits including State New Source Review (NSR), Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD), Nonattainment New Source Review (NNSR), flexible permits, permit by rule registrations, and Title V operating permits
Greenhouse gas reporting and permitting
Preparation of emissions inventories and SARA 313 reports
Technical and economic evaluation of emission control technologies, including analysis of BACT
Atmospheric dispersion modeling of air pollutants
Development of custom software applications for emissions estimation and fulfilling operational and reporting requirements
Implementation of compliance management systems

Jason has extensive expertise in a wide variety of industrial facilities, including petroleum refining, chemical manufacturing, oil and gas production and processing, power production and cogeneration facilities, hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facilities, and surface coating operations.

Jason is a registered professional engineer in Texas, Louisiana, Hawaii, and South Carolina and has overseen projects in Alabama, Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas. Jason is a member of the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers’ Environmental Committee and also a member of the Air and Waste Management Association. He has been with Waid Environmental since 1995.
